His expertise is built on a foundation of rigorous training, beginning with a focused residency and culminating in a prestigious, dedicated fellowship at Crozer Health under the mentorship of the renowned Dr. Sherman Leis. Upon completing this fellowship, Dr. Opoku-Agyeman made history as the first Black plastic surgeon to be formally fellowship-trained in transgender surgery.
Today, he dedicates the core of his practice to providing compassionate, world-class surgical care to the transgender community nationwide.
